Chiswick Park Lifecare

Our first visit to Chiswick Park was a huge success.
The children were a little nervous to start with but after meeting, and helping to feed, Slow and Steady (the turtles) they warmed up.

The group was lucky enough to have chocolate cake and juice for afternoon tea and talked to some amazing residents.
They meet Roy who has lived at Chiswick for 9 years and the mother of local singer Angela Ayers.
Here is Isaac and Saul talking to Maureen.

Although reluctant to sing at the start of the visit, the children did sing a beautiful waiata for the residents and did the Pou before returning to school at 3pm.

On our next visit the residents are going to teach the children how to play Balloon Tennis.
A big thank you to Karen and Chiswick Park Lifecare for hosting us.
